Would you like to see your artwork in a real exhibition?

Here’s a little opportunity that I’m really excited to share with you…

Gathering Ground are putting on a community art exhibition at the Pavilion in Hillsborough Park, opening on 29th August – and they’ve asked whether any of the wonderful artists I work with would like to exhibit!

I think this could be a lovely opportunity for those of you who come to Dungworth Art Group or enjoy nature journalling to share something you’ve created and are proud of.

And it really doesn’t need to be a “proper” or professional piece of artwork. It could be a nature journal page, a drawing, a print, a painting, or something else you’ve made at art club or in your own creative practice.

I know that putting your work out there can feel a little daunting – but that’s also what makes it exciting! Imagine walking into the exhibition and seeing your own work on the wall. ❤️

If there’s enough interest, I’d happily collect the work and work with Gathering Ground to create a shared exhibit, perhaps called:

🌱 Work from Artists at Dungworth Art Group

or

🌿 Sheffield Nature Journallers

or

🌿 Botanical Printing

It feels like a really lovely way to celebrate the creativity of our little community and let other people see what we get up to.

The exhibition opens on 29th August, so the deadline is quite tight. If you think you might like to take part, please email me as soon as you can and let me know what you’d like to exhibit.

Go on… why not let your artwork out into the world?

I’d love to see what you’ve been making and I know others would too!
