Christmas Card Printing Workshop

Due to popular demand I’ll be running an afternoon session of Christmas Card printing on the 22nd November. Join me at the wonderful Botanical Gardens where you will learn to carve your own lino block and print your own Christmas cards.

What to expect:
The session will start with a short visit to the gardens to collect festive botanical images and sketches. You’ll then learn to trace these onto soft lino, carve and run a simple first print. Once you’re happy with the print, you’ll be able to create up to 10 cards which you can take home with you.

• All materials and tools
• Ten cards to print and envelopes to take home
• Tea, coffee & cake throughout the morning
• A calm, inspiring space to explore and develop printing techniques

No experience needed – complete beginners welcome.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in printing and creating their own homemade Christmas cards.

Due to the winter opening times of the Botnaical Gardens we will need to promptly finish at 3:30pm however this session will have less participants than the morning session meaning you will get just as much time to make your prints.
