Art and Craft Workshops at Cotton Star Camping, Summer 2024
This summer, I am delighted to be able to offer a number of art and craft workshops for families and adults at Cotton Star Campsite. The workshops will be led by me and will take place at the campsite, using the unique forest and reservoir setting as inspiration. All the workshops are open to campers as well as non-campers but places are limited so get in touch to arrange your place!
All the resources will be provided and everyone will be supported and encouraged to produce high-quality outcomes they will be proud of.
These are all outdoor workshops which will involve working on the ground, being active and freedom from the traditional classroom environment. We are not scared of the British weather and workshops are planned to adapt to the conditions.
To register your interest in any of the workshops, use the link below.

| Sunday 26th May 12.30-2.30 ‘Batik’ Flag or Bunting Making | Make your mark on the campsite with a beautiful batik inspired tent flag or bunting. “Batik” is an Indonesian term and technique where you use wax to create patterns that resist the dye when the fabric is painted or emerged in dye. In this workshop, local artist, Jenny Coats, will show you how to use a wax resist method to create stunning results that can be used as a tent flag or bunting. |

Materials to decorate your tile or bowl will be provided for you to complete the design once it has dried fully. |
